Attention to every detail is taken with pride in building a fully modular, multi-caliber rifle with extreme precision, reliability and durability that will overwhelm even the most demanding shooters.

A PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN TRADITION AND INNOVATION:

Button rifled barrels. The 75cm raw steel bar is drilled with an extra-long double-ended bit (like a foil blade). The hole is then reamed using a cutting tool mounted on a rod. The bore is then polished back and forth with a diamond powder coated mandrel to achieve a perfect polish and diameter. The tube is then scratched in a single operation with a tungsten carbide olive, which is forcefully pulled inside the barrel by a hydraulic machine.

The olive is calibrated according to the twist rate to be made. The scratch bench is equipped with a lead screw and a pantograph which allow fine adjustment of the desired scratch pitch. The barrel is then annealed in an oven to remove the tensions created by the scratching. Then the barrel is straightened with the laser and the press. Finally, the barrel is turned to obtain the final profile, and to receive the hardened steel bolt ring.

This process is long and complex, but it guarantees exceptional precision of your barrel. We refrain from using the cold hammering technique, which is fast and economical, but which does not qualify to produce "Match grade" barrels.

Assembly and final adjustment are carried out exclusively in our workshops. The weapon is tested, then sent to the proof house. Finally, the parts receive a surface treatment depending on the result and the required appearance (polishing, sandblasting, micro-blasting, anodic oxidation, Cerakote).

AN ELITE SELECTION OF MATERIALS USED:

The barrel is made of special stainless steel. The locking ring is made of high strength hardened steel. The three-lugs bolt is made from the same steel as the ring. The action receiver is in Ergal (alloy of zinc, magnesium, copper, aluminum) of Aerospace quality, hardened high resistance.

The action receiver can be made of steel, which increases the rigidity when firing, and further improves accuracy, but which leads to an overweight of around 1kg. The support beam is made of hard aluminum (aluminum alloy, copper, magnesium, manganese).

The techniques used to produce barrels, receivers and actions, the superiority of the materials used, the concept of the floating barrel clamped in the receiver, the particular care taken in hand fit and finish of each of the parts used , make every Legacy rifle we produce a Unique Multi caliber rifle with total modularity, exceptional precision, durability and extreme reliability.
